I have a love/hate thing going on with vegetable dishes. I love making pico de gallo to layer in homemade tortilla. I love chopping up a big bowl of crunch salad. But I hate all of the slicing and dicing required to achieve perfectly uniform pieces. So, when the Fullstar Vegetable Chopper started trending on TikTok, I knew I had to try it out. FYI, it’s 25 percent off on Amazon right now (even after Prime Day) so you can also grab it at a discount.
The food chopper comes with four interchangeable stainless-steel blades for dicing and spiralizing (we see you, pesto zoodles). The large dice blade is great for hard fruits and veggies, like potatoes, while the small dice blade is perfect for dicing onions, which was what I was most excited to try.
Even with the sharpest knives, I still shed tears while dicing onions the old-fashioned way. The Fullstar Vegetable Chopper made the experience so much more enjoyable. While there’s still some knife work involved (veggies need to be cut into smaller pieces before going in the chopper), nothing beats perfectly uniform diced onions.

The brushes that come with the chopper make it easy to clean out any food chunks that may get stuck in the blades. Afterwards, it can be disassembled and placed in the top rack of the dishwasher for easy cleaning.
